Summer Festival of Art at the Gallery at 41

After a short break following Dorset Art Weeks we are looking forward to a busy summer and seeing more old friends and customers and new.

On Saturday 3rd July we open our ‘Summer Festival of Art at the Gallery‘. The Isle of Purbeck is beautiful at this time of year with rolling hills, dramatic coastline with fabulous beaches, castles and villages, wild flowers, birds of every description, heathland and moor, winding rivers, animals, dolphins off the coastline, we could go on and on. It is in this landscape that our Dorset artists immerse themselves with a wealth of inspiration, capturing the area in their own unique way in a range of media.

You will find work by painters David Atkins, Rob Adams, Sue Fawthrop, Vicky Finding, Felicity House PS, Mike Jeffries, Roger Dell Seddon, Judy Tate and Edward Vine. Our sculptors are Sue Lansbury, Brendon Murless, Laura Pentreath and Moira Purver SWA. We will also be showing ceramics by Janet Parker-Laird.

We are open here in Corfe Castle weekly (Thursday to Sunday 11am to 4pm) but please visit our website for opening hours if you are making a special journey. We are also happy to open by appointment.
