Swanage

The beautiful town of Swanage is just five miles from Corfe Castle and offers everything you would expect from a traditional seaside holiday resort — from a safe sandy beach, parks and playgrounds to winding narrow streets with views of the sea around every corner.

Swanage Blue Flag beach stretches around the bay and is great place to start exploring the unique shops, restaurants, take-aways and pubs. There’s also a great range of hotels, guest houses and self catering accommodation in Swanage.

From Corfe you can take the A351 to Swanage, catch the No. 40 bus or travel back o time with the Swanage Heritage Railway.

Wander the back streets, explore the harbour and Pier and climb Peveril point for a great view across Swanage bay, the Purbeck Hill and in the distance Old Harry Rock.
