The Murder Mystery Walk Returns for 2025!

The ever-popular Murder Mystery Walk will return in 2025. Visitors are invited to travel back in time and join period-costumed characters on a twilight walk in the shadow of the spectacular ruins of Corfe Castle.

The Murder Mystery Walks will take place during the summer holidays and promise an immersive experience set in 1834 Hanoverian Britain—a period marked by significant political, economic, and social reform. However, not everyone is content with these sweeping changes. The rural workforce is in open revolt, and parliamentary constituencies have been reformed to eliminate all the Rotten Boroughs of Corfe Castle and Wareham. Slavery has almost been abolished, and the Anatomy Act may have put an end to grave robbing.

Amidst this backdrop, a prominent local doctor and politician has been found shot while staying at a local coaching inn. Consequently, a senior member of the newly formed ‘Peelers’ has been dispatched from London to lend his deductive reasoning skills to the investigation. What will he uncover in this seething hotbed of radical thinkers?

Walk dates are as follows: 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th July, as well as 4th and 6th August 2025.
