Following on from our hugely successful 2024 production, Double Act are pleased to announce that this year we are in Panto mode Oh yes we are!
This years offering is filled with magical characters that you might have met before, although not necessarily in the same story. Filled with music and song, this family fun production staring our amazing award winning cast, promises thrills and spills and all the best bits you would expect from a Pantomime ……. Oh yes it does!
Alice Wobbly (Mary Newcombe) follows her hapless cat Chester (Eleanor Morris) down the Rabbit hole. However, that is where any similarity to this famous story ends! Alice’s Mother Old Mother Wobbly (David Wellstead) follows her adventurous daughter through the hole and the inevitable mayhem ensues.
Our award winning director, Peter Smith, plays the forgetful Santa Clause and the evil Queen of Hearts (Lyndsay Dixon) plays our brilliant baddy.
