Heads up for next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ~ the B3351 Corfe Castle to Studland road will be closed each evening/night to all traffic between 9pm and 6am (16th – 18th June 2021).
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along STUDLAND ROAD, CORFE CASTLE (in both directions) from its junction with the A351 (Railway viaduct) in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 600 metres. The Notice is needed to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on Wednesday 16th June 2021 and will remain in force for five days. However the works are programmed to take place over two nights, between 21.00hrs and 06.00hrs, between Wednesday 16th June 2021 and Friday 18th June 2021.
This Notice will allow Knighton Countryside Management Ltd to undertake essential safety works on the trees in this area.
