The Purbeck Park is a great facility for taking the Swanage Railway steam or diesel train to Corfe Castle and Swanage, and is the best way to avoid traffic congestion.
A separate train ticket will need to be purchased from Swanage Railway if you wish to travel by train to Corfe Castle, Harmans Cross, Herston or Swanage. Alternatively you can walk to Corfe Castle village using the footpath (approx 10 minutes to the National Trust Visitor Centre and another 10 minutes to the Castle entrance and Village Square), follow the signs from the end of the Railway Station platform towards Corfe Castle.
