The Swanage Railway Victorian Weekend will be a 3 day event with four steam locomotives in service running between Swanage and Norden.
Visiting 01 Class Number 65 will be running alongside T3 Class Number 563 as well as U Class 31806 and West Country 34028 “Eddystone”.
The three-day celebration of the era that built the branch line from Wareham to Swanage in the 1880s. Featuring Victorian locomotives including our newly restored T3 and SECR no.65 01 Class visiting from the Bluebell Railway. There will also be Victorian reenactors from The Nothe Fort Garrison and The New Thomas Hardy Players performing on trains on Saturday. Free Victorian craft stands on Swanage Station from Friday afternoon (subject to volunteer availability).
