Don’t miss this special opportunity to discover the wonders of RSPB Arne by moonlight, in an event uniquely created by women for women.

At Arne, we believe no one should feel unable to enjoy the solace nature has to offer, especially the enthralling spectacle of a moonlit stroll in the woodland.

Join us for a 7:00pm start, for a 2-hour guided walk around the reserve, taking in the beauty of the full moon and the night sky, led by a female RSPB member of staff. Your safety is highly important to us, so there will be additional members of staff with us at all times. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TORCH.

Disclaimer: If the weather is overcast, the event will STILL GO AHEAD as planned, ticket holders will still be able to enjoy a guided safe nighttime walk at Arne.

This event can take up to 12 attendees, and tickets include a flask of hot chocolate to enjoy while you take in the beauty of the full moon sky. Yay!

Cost:
Adult RSPB member: £15 (including flask of hot chocolate)
Adult non-RSPB member: £18 (including flask of hot chocolate)
+ booking fee, non-members parking included in the ticket for the duration of the event only.

If you have any unanswered questions, please email us at arne@rspb.org.uk.

Why Women-Only?
In 2021, RSPB Arne trialled some women-only events, in response to the devastating news about Sarah Everard and the resulting wave of similar experiences told by women across the country. After several successful women only guided walks, we are pleased to be able to continue these into the New Year. These events won’t be to everyone’s taste, but hope it will allow those, who might not otherwise feel safe, to experience nature in a friendly and safe space. For anyone who would like a further explanation as to why this is a woman only event, we would encourage you to read this blog by Martin Harper, former Global Conservation Director of the RSPB. https://community.rspb.org.uk/ourwork/b/martinharper/posts/being-a-good-man-a-reflection-on-what-can-be-done-to-ensure-the-countryside-is-welcome-and-safe-for-all
