Purbeck Film Festival present West Side Story at National Trust Corfe Castle.
This is the recent 2021 version of the classic musical West Side Story by Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.
It is set in the poorer parts of New York in the 1950s as gangs of wayward youths battle for dominance of the district. In this tinderbox, troubled but sensitive Tony meets and immediately falls for Maria , but she is from the other side of the tracks…
