Corfe to Swanage Ridgeway walk challenge

Join Tom from the National Trust to do one of the best walks in Purbeck. There will be hills-but the views at the top, and the ancient burial grounds of the nine barrows will be worth it.

We will be meeting at Corfe Primary School car park for 9.30am (arrive from 9.15am) – the school have allowed us to park in the school car park

This will be a long walk – approx. 5 miles from Corfe – Swanage, with the expectation

families will then travel onwards home from there (or bus/Swanage Railway train back to Corfe for picking up cars).

Tom has walked these hills and ridgeways for decades and comes with a wealth of knowledge for things to do and places to go for your future adventures.

Bus tickets: once you book your tickets, a special code will be emailed out to input into the MoreBus App to buy a family bus ticket for £5 for the day, enabling you to travel to the start location by bus, return home from Swanage by bus or return back to Corfe primary school to fetch your car at the end of the day.
