Step back in time with The English Civil War Society as they garrison the Castle and go about their daily life.
Watch Lady Bankes dine with her friends as her cooks busy themselves preparing the food. Witness Pike and Musket drills as the soldiers prepare for battle. Soak up the sounds and smells of living history displays from authentic cooking and leatherwork to herbalists and coinmakers.
Each day will culminate in a battle re-enactment. Saturday: Siege of Corfe Castle. Watch as an attacking force tries to take the castle but are repulsed by a stout defence of castle inhabitants.
