The Isle of Purbeck and its surrounding areas are home to numerous festivals and outdoor events throughout the year. In Corfe Castle, visitors can enjoy the annual events such as the May Fair, Open Air Theatres and Purbeck Arts Week, which showcases the work of local artists, musicians, and performers. Swanage hosts the Jazz, Blues and the Folk Festivals, attracting music lovers from far and wide. Wareham host an annual Carnival and during the summer Wareham Wednesdays runs weekly music and charity events.
