BETH ORTON is an award-winning singer-songwriter. Raised in Norfolk and London, she has released seven acclaimed solo albums including the Mercury prize nominated Trailer Park (1997), the BRIT Award-winning Central Reservation (1999), Comfort of Strangers (2006) and Sugaring Season (2012). Orton’s most recent album is 2022’s self-produced Weather Alive, which appeared on many year-end best lists including The New York Times, Pitchfork, and NPR. Bassist TOM HERBERT has played with Mercury prize nominated bands The Invisible and Polar Bear. He co-leads the Okumu Herbert Skinner Trio and is a member of Voices of Bishara. Tom regularly collaborates with notable musicians such as Shabaka Hutchings, Pete Wareham, Seb Rochford, Chelsea Carmichael and he performs with many more including Beth Orton, Beth Gibbons, Adele, David Gilmour, Grace Jones, Alabaster DePlume, Lana Del Ray, Yoko Ono, Paolo Nutini, Frank Ocean, and Hugh Masekela.  He performs solo improvised double bass concerts and in 2023 released the album Nightports with Tom Herbert.
