Open Air Cinema: Rocketman (15) — The Blue Pool

Join us under the stars for the incredible hit movie Rocketman, in the open air at the beautiful Blue Pool in Wareham, Dorset. An epic musical fantasy, this multi-award-winning tale follows the fantastical journey of transformation of shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John. The BAFTA-winning Taron Egerton is incredible as the world-famous music star, and the classic songs and stunning visuals lift the story into the stratosphere!

The screening will take place on a grassed area at the venue. For safety reasons, there will be no access to the Blue Pool itself on the night of the event, but you are welcome to make a day of your trip and visit the whole attraction in the daytime (admission charges apply). COVID Safe Guarantee: if COVID-related control measures are still in force on the date of the event, appropriate measures will be put in place, and any customers unable to attend for Coronavirus-related reasons will be fully refunded or offered tickets for an alternative, future event.

Food and Drink: you are welcome to bring picnics to the event. However, due to licensing restrictions, you are not permitted to bring alcohol with you. An event bar will be open selling alcoholic and soft drinks. Hot drinks and ice creams will also be on sale. Please don’t bring any glass containers or bottles to the event.

Other Information: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The film is rated 15. Deckchairs with blankets will be provided for those purchasing premium seats, all other customers selecting standard seating must bring their own low-backed camping chairs or deckchairs.

Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled.
